ABOUT ME!
Jennifer is an accomplished dancer, instructor, choreographer, and mother with over 19 years of teaching experience. Her passion for dance began at the age of two when she took her first ballet lessons at the YMCA held in the basement of a local church. She is extensively trained in multiple dance genres, including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, and Musical Theatre. After graduating, Jennifer continued her studies at The University of the Arts in their Dance Certificate Program before launching her professional career in the dance industry.
Her performance credits include work with Carnival Cruise Lines (M.S. Paradise, M.S. Pride, M.S. Miracle), The Fulton Theatre (A Chorus Line), Olney Theatre (On the Town, Candide, Elf, Singing in the Rain), and Totem Pole Playhouse (Footloose, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar, A Christmas Carol), among others.
With extensive experience teaching students of all ages—from toddlers to adults—Jennifer specializes in Ballet, Pointe, Musical Theatre, and is a Certified Level 1 Progressing Ballet Technique instructor. Many of her former students have gone on to successful careers in the performing arts, appearing as backup dancers for Taylor Swift and Poppy, joining prestigious companies such as Ailey II and Giordano Dance Company, and performing with IamForce Company, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Lines, the Brooklynettes, Washington Commanders, Tennessee Titans, and Ravens Cheerleaders. Others have graced the stages of Disney World, featured in television series such as Glee and Smash, and performed in regional theater and commercial work.
Beyond teaching, Jennifer is an accomplished choreographer, lending her creative expertise to professional theaters, colleges, talent shows, and dance competitions. Her dedication to dance education and choreography continues to inspire and shape the next generation of performers.
